hi all I've looked back but cant find answers. I'm sure it's an easy answer but I've asked suppliers and also no guarantees. so here goes.
is the air suspension bags the same on 2.5 p38 diesel as it is on petrol. most companies say it fits all petrol or all v8 but none say diesel. and as I dont want to remove old bag to find out I cant fit new
and have to return and do new search and order etc. I'm sure it's me being over cautious. but any answers would be gracefully received

Island4x4 Dunlop originals £46 +vat. That's what I went for. Few quid more than flea bay plus more peace of mind

dont I know it. A faulty thermostat cost me a viscous fan, a water pump and datatek's fan bypass. ( Its Awsome) just to find out Ebay's thermostat was crap. but after enough lost skin and swearing, my brain worked it out.

The airbags are the same for all P38's, don't buy off Ebay, go to Island 4 x 4 or other reputable supplier. If you are keeping the car long term and have deep pockets, go for Arnott Gen 2's. the Dunlop bags have a life expectancy of 7/8 years 80K miles, the Arnott's seem to last for ever looking at the 9 year old ones on my daily driver,

I average 3 to 4 thousand a year and no off roading so Dunlop suite me fine. Would recommend Arnott for higher use but I am happy with what I've got

Arnott gen 2 will go on mine next time.

It's not just the amount of use, the Dunlops perish over time, if keeping the car long term IMO the Arnotts are worth while. I have had Arnotts on mine for around 9 years, and they look like new, I'd be looking at replacing Dunlops after this length of time..
