Hi my 2012 L322 has a problem overnight in that the front of the car drops down. I’m thinking one or both air bags maybe on the way out? Any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem? Cheers.

Sounds like you are probably right. Do you get any messages on the dash?
The use of the LR approved leak detection fluid is the best way to check bags:rolleyes:, failing that Fairy liquid+ water in a spray bottle works and is usually the first and cheapest diagnostic tool available:D.

As you only leave it overnight it will only drop at the "leaky front". If you leave it longer does the back go down too?
The newer 1s only self level every 24hrs. (from 2011 manual).

So as its only overnight and you say both fronts seem low would lead to both being knackered.
There will be a fuse in the rear fuse box you could pull to cut power to the module that controls the "periodic leveling) if pulled then left overnight and day (need 24hrs) it would show a droopy corner.

But as said replacing in pairs is really the way to go.

Reading of codes would be handy but wont tell you xx bag is leaking it will say something more confusing:rolleyes:. But if you are not getting a message it would probably not show a fault code.

Fairy liquid keeps your hands soft too:D.
