Just looking for a quick bit of advice before i start... suspension is playing up again..it's now sitting on the bump stops with no warning lights, checked the compressor and all is good but when i tried to jack up the suspension with a big compressor I can hear air escaping from somewhere around the rear axle, it doesn't sound like it is coming from either of the springs.
Are there any exhausts/vents around the OSR that could be stuck open or leaking.

Right....I found the burst hose, replaced it checked the exhaust around the area no obvious leaks or heat sources, it burst within 2 days in exactly the same place, replaced the hose again and tried to re-route it slightly (towards the front of the car) and it has burst again in the same place.

Any ideas??

no rubbing but the way that it has busrt looks like it may have been heated up and softened, just seems strange that it is in exactly the same place 3 times, about 4 inches in from the rear NS wheel.

I'm sure that the replacement hose is the same spec but regardless the replacement hose burst in the place as the original.

So, it's pretty obvious you have an exhaust blow, it only needs a pin hole in the right place to melt the pipe. If you don't want to fix the cause of the problem, you could always bodge it by splicing in a long length of metal pipe.

The pipe does not have to melt it just needs to get hot. 60 or 70 psi inside it will do the rest. Fix the exhaust blow, fix the pipe, happy days.
