All,

Yesterday I went to see a '93 vogue with EAS with an eye towards purchase. The car runs well, rides well stops well and looks pretty clean. the one problem is with the air suspension. Basically the car has been sitting for months. At start up the car rose as it should but after shutting down and starting back up the up and down switch lights flashed for more than a minute and once they stopped there was no lowering or raising as selected by the switches. The owner had the system recently 'overhauled' which included a 'cylinder'. I suspect that it has had new bladders from the looks underneath. I think I can get this Rangie for a reasonable price so my question is how expensive is sorting out these EAS systems? I really don't fancy removing the system and replacing with springs as I like the improved ride quality.

Also the driver seat heating didn't seem to work, are there common causes for this?

Cheers,

- Douglas
