Had the RR away to have the door handle release cable replaced, since its been back have got the 'air suspension inactive' error on the LCD dash, and the height 'lock' button is constantly illuminated, is this a common fault? Been told to do a battery disconnect by a guy from work, whats the correct procedure please?

try start up turn the steering wheel full lock to the left then full lock to the right if it doesn't re set you probably need a reset by a diagnostics

I think it is not advisable to disconnect the battery immediatly after switching off as this causes damage to the sat nav system. Check your handbook or wait for Saint to come online

Hi Alan you old tart.
You need to at least wait for the little red light to go off of the satnav before disconnecting the battery but remove the parcel shelf and look though the back window or leave boot open as it will wake up again if you open anything.
Be careful reconnecting as if you connect and disconnect again while fumbling with the terminal and then reconnect it could be toasted.
What John says above lock to lock and back to centre with it running should clear it, try it a few times if needed.

Hi Andy, yoiu old slut, I thought I was correct but we p38 owners don't have that problem (loads of others) as we have the brains to know where we are going, how to get there and how to get home.:p:D:D:D:D

I know, I like something to hang on to, anyway that's really low, you know being an L322 owner I can't remember the last time I had a fiver :(
Anyway, what was this thread about, oh yeah, I'll shut up?
