Backgroud,
Today I had to use a local garage to replace a front left radius arm on my 95 series 1 disco. Upon collection the ABS light will not go out asked the mechanic if he had touched the sensors as I had a simular problem a few years back when I had brakes replaced. Then as it was a Land rover agent they hooked it up and said it was the air sensor and it took a few minits to sort out. Mechanic said he didnt touch them directly but a bit of banging around was done.
My question,
If it is the sensors do they pull out or screw out? after resitting will the ABS light go out automaticly or does it need to be reset by a landrover agent as he doesnt have modern equipment?
thanks in advance
