Air flow meter

Hi guys...

am wondering if anyone of the know could tell me the difference between the 3AM, part no AFH55-1 air flow meter by hitachi and 5AM, part no ERR5198 air flow meter bu lucas.

My 3.9 classic is currently running on the 3AM. Are they interchangeable?

If your car is using 3am you can put in the newer 5am.

Hi. Thanks for the info. Is it a simple plug-in or the wires and ecu needs to be adjusted/tuned/modified??
