Does anyone know if the air filter housing for a 2.5 NA diesel is the same as the one for a 2.5 Turbo diesel?

i would imagine it is as its the same engine really. do you have a pic of the turbo one? i could tell you from a pic

Sorry no pic avail, but thanks....i'm in the process of getting all the parts ready to change engines from the std 2.25 blue smokey diesel in my 1976 88" series 3 to a 2.5td from a 1987 90.

so where does the 2.5n/a come in? all i can suggest is try ebay for the housing, air filters are real easy to get hold of from paddocks etc. infact, i know for a FACT that the air filter element is the same on the n/a as the turbo. so surely the housing cant differ... can it?

Aha.. have found an air filter for a Na diesel already on e bay, so was wondering if they were the same...

They are the same. Until recently I had 2 landies one of each.
