Air filter 200 tdi conversion

Have a disco engine conversion and can't get the air filter round cover to fit over the new filter end. Do the come in different diameters?

is it a britpart filter by any chance ?

Dunno bought it off eBay and it came in a plain box. Am I better getting a proper or part?

You first need to identify what type of airbox got used in the conversion, if the original td airbox was used they are approximately 65 shorter than a 200tdi so a 200tdi filter wont fit.

Also to there are two types of discovery 200tdi air filters, one with the cover built on and one without.

type 1 and type2

Type 2 required and got a type 1! No wonder it wouldnt fit, cheers.
