Air conditioning and plastic nudge bars

Hi I'm a Land rover owner from Spain, and I would like to install a front nudge bar, but they said that i could not do it because the air conditioning don't allow to do it does anybody knows if there is any solution for it?
i would like to have it like the one in the picture i have a winch XD9000 warn too does anybody knows about to adapt it?

the only Reason for the Air Con not to permit the Plastic Nudge bar would possibly be because of the Cooler or like my Range Rover Two large fans which would obviously have restricted air flow.

well ive seen nude bars fitted to cars with aircon the only thing i can think is 1 is that you mean a rubber a frame and the grill on a new defender with aircon sticks out about 2 inches more so this might not accomadate a straight fit on but im sure if you could either space front bumper out 2 inches or have the a frame stuck out by 2 inches not sure of any other answer sorry

if you got the original rubber defender A bar you see in the picture. it does acomodate the air con radiator. there are 2 flavours to that, one for a winch and the other without. In the same picture is the one that doesn't support winch installation.

in the averstone red one, there is factory ac unit installed (+ 2 inches) and using the same A bar.

over here in sg, i've an after market ac unit installed and mine is not buldging the extra 2 inches.

i didn't see any defenders in barcelona when i was there for 1/2 year. hmmm.

Dear friend the reason why you didn't see Defenders in Barcelona is because they are all aou of the city I actually live 60 Km from Barcelona and there is plenty of Defenders but, they are all working vehicles not like me that I used a everyday car
Does somebody knows any winch that I could install with the nudg bar , air cond, and that be hidding under ?

if i didn't remember wrongly, you could check the original defender accessory catalogue and they'll mention the WARN winch might be the xd9000. can't remember the model. the information on the A bars are also there.

Thanks achuakh! But do you know if there is a online catalogue for the accessories?
because here they only have a list of the parts and don't mention technical things!

I can't seem to find an online catalogue of the original accessories. I'll be going(hopefully if my work allows me time) to the local LR part dealer maybe next week, I'd go check the catalogue and let you know.

Maybe the LR dealer in Spain can help you out a little? Not sure if they have a dealership in Barcelona.

Hi Eric,

The genuine Land Rover A frame bar will fit a Defender with A/C...I know because I have one . If you want to fit a winch bumper and winch, you will need the A frame without the lower cross bar, the part no. in the UK is VUB501740.

In the accessories book, the A Frame is shown fitted to a Defender XS with a Warn 9000i winch......very tasty
