I have a 4.6 vogue 2001 which is in mint condition - no problems since having bought it etc.

Now have had what I believe is condensate coming into the passenger side footwell over the weekend - not a steady stream but droplets in the airflow with the aircon. ''on'' - from the air duct. 'Water' seems colourless and odourless - and no appreciable 'taste'.

Could this be a blocked condenser drain pipe?Or something more sinister [ had this on an Audi previously which nearly turned the whole car into a swimming pool in a day or so!] and if so does anyone know exactly where the pipe is located.

Have turned aircon off as if Range Rover aircon's are as efficient as Audi then I'm gonna need a snorkel if I switch it back on without a cure..

Hi Mark!
Dont worry bud! Have had it with both my P38's and is real common...
Water in the passengers footwell = Blocked Aircon Condensor Pipes
Water in the drivers footwell = Heater O ring problems..

Simple fix...Set it on the highest settin,,,Slide under neath and about 6" back from the bulk head (where the gearbox bolts to the block) right at the top of the transmittion tunnel theres 2x 1" round black rubber " nipples" .(1 each side)..Give em a squeeze and you'll get all the crap drain out...Normally find some mud or somethings blocked the drain...
Be warned though as if your getting water in the footwell, the drain pipes are liable to be full and will drop about a pint of dirty stale water straight out!!! So keep clear.!!
Job done!!!!

Hope it helps ,, LTel
