Air con pump

Hi, Can anyone tell me if 1997 2.5 diesel P38 can use a aircon pump from a 4.0 or a 4.6 P38 or any other vechicle, Or do you have to get a 2.5 exact match, Also does anyone have a diagram to wire 2003 HID rangy lamps to mu 1997. Thanks

As far as I know, the Compressors are different on the Diesel to the V8
