Air Con Fluid Leak

Didnt get a chance to get under the car to look at what I thought was a transmission oil pipe leak until late this afternoon. Gave all the pipes a clean up and it looks like a very small leak from the engine oil pipe is dripping on the transmission pipe. Will probably leave that as is for now and monitor over the next couple of weeks.

What I did find though is a green fluid which I think is air con fluid. It is on the passenger side of engine very low down and puddling in the engine cross member. Will try and have a good look tomorrow to see if I can see where it is coming from.

Any thoughts??
 
Hi, the green fluid is deffo air con related. Mine leaked in the same spot, turned out the air con condennsor had split on the top corner then the fluid ran down the side and collected in the same spot.
 
yep condenser...
Halfords will do you a check and confirmation FOC.
then get them to degas.
fit a new condenser
take back and regas.
Halfords £70 ish
2hrs work DIY
Condenser get change from £100.
Done.

Hi, probably lost all of its freon by now ( mine did), purchase new condensor and fit yourself, only an hours work At most, peice of cake. If you want to change seals, half odds do them for a couple of quid. Then it's just a £40 regas.
