I have a 98 rr that leaks inside on the drivers side directly under steering column whenever the ac is on. It leaks enough water to completely soak the floor and mat. The water is seen draining out on the left passenger side when the vehicle stops. What should I do and any idea of the cost. Also the heat only blows on the left side and not on the right, any idea about that? Thanks to who ever responds.

Hi first you need to check that it is water from the aircon pipe drains and not a coolant leak from your heater matrix "O" rings if you kneel down on drivers side just look with a torch at the end vent area should see 2 metal pipes is the any water dripping if so not good, are you topping up expansion tank often,if not check drain tubes are fitted correctly and not blocked underneath car around gearbox bell housing area,it will cost 8 hours labour at the main dealers, they say its a dash out job but you can do it in an hour if clever enough, also sounds like your blend motors are going wrong they cost about £180 for parts and they say dash out again but my best time is 55mins,they charge 8 hrs labour again,do i get a bonus your asking yourselves thats right i dont! sorry ranting again not a good job on a rating of difficulty from 1 to 10 i would give it an 8 hope this helps tiga.
