Hey all, just after some advice!

My 110 is converted to a camper in the rear, i'd love to add a sunroof to it for two reasons. 1: so that i can see the sky from bed, 2: to provide ventilation as it can get quite humid in there with a few people in...

do any of you have sunroof experience? This Thule one) looks like the least obtrusive (i'd like it to be as 'invisible' as possible from the outside but i've seen some onbline reviews which make it sound a little flimsy.

This Remitop one looks okay, but i've also seen some reviews which point out that it isn't very well anchored so the top could be blown off in the wind, or ripped off by a van robber...

basically, all i want is a clear window on the top which i can open! a blackout blind/fly screen would also be nice, but i can make my own if needed.

am i missing a trick here? i've only found 3 'decent' options, but they're all pretty similar and don't seem very secure.
Thanks again in advance!

Be aware that some are permanently vented and others are not so decide on what you want before buying. Also some are a more unusual size (I am thinking about the MPK 320mmx360mm here) so if you wanted to replace the vent at some time in the future then you could be stuck with one brand or changing the size of the hole.
The problem with these small roof-vents is that some do not have the sliding blackout screen and instead just have an insect proof mesh screen which is not as user friendly.

Thanks, i've noticed about the vented/unvented types. i'll probably go with unvented as if i need air, i can just open the window or the windscreen vents...

400x400mm seems to be a pretty standard size, which i'd be happy with. i just don't like the look of any i've seen! (only 3 semi decent ones so far)

really what i want is either a house skylight, or a caravan side window. both of which are obviously not possible. but you'd think a decent item would exist! I can't be the only one who wants a roof window on a camper!?

How about a standard aftermarket car sunroof? Nice and flush so you shouldn't see it from the outside and as secure as your standard defender windows.

How about going a bit bigger and getting a full rooflight?
These come with sliding insect & blackout screens plus being purpose designed rooflights have a significant lip to prevent ingress of water (something you wouldn't get it you tried to use a widow in a horizontal position).
