Jordan - Visa free on border for two weeks. However, this is for the Aqaba area, I believe if you enter from Syria it is $10

Compulsory Insurance (One Week) - 19JD - Approx $28

Visa on border (Not especially keen on doing it but they do!) $52

cheers rhubarb, once again very usefull info, if you passing through italy try out this place borgo di italia its about 30min outside of rome and wow , its very basic but a beautiful place to unwind for a few days.

Unless I get asked to pay exit tax in Turkey, which I doubt, I will be in Greece and the EU on Wednesday next week so that's it.

If I can be bothered I'll stick it all in one neat single page thread sometime.

I've got to be back in London weekend of the 10th Oct for some stuff there so boat to Venice and then three day slog back to England so Europe will have to wait for next year. Having my last relaxation and holiday here in Kas, Turkey for a week. Then a week or two in England before somewhere new - by 'plane and a lie flat bed! ~It's a pity I really wanted to do some Euro camping but it's not gonna happen.
