Hi all after a slightly bigger set of wheels for my 1996 disco thinking of a set of cooper discoverer st 235-70 r16 106s mud tyres on steel rims.would like some info please before i purchase.

cant really go any bigger than that on a disco in any sense unless you wana camel cut etc

Just looked at the tyre's your after, they look more like AT's to me
COOPER TYRES / 4X4 / COOPER DISCOVERER ST - 235/70R16 106S OWL TL :: £70.20 :: 4x4 Tyres - SUV Tyres - All Terrain Tyres - Off Road Tyres - 16" :: R16" - 235/70/16, 235/70 R 16 ::

A very similar tyre to that is the General Grabber AT2, a bit dearer mind but has not let me down on mud, snow, sand, grass or tarmac, I can highly recommend them.
