I recently put in a new clutch on my series 3 1974 88. All is good, gears changing nicely, however Ive noticed a clunck (not overly loud but noticable) When put in gear, and I bring the pedal up there is no clunk and a good change, the clunk only happens when I depress the pedal back down? Is this a case of adjustment maybe or could it be more sinister. There are no other symptoms and Im happy with it on the whole just wondering what this clonk could be? Is it some kind of backlash? Engine mountings maybe, Ive not replaced them yet! Just odd how it only happens when I push the clutch pedal down while in gear and not on the bite coming up. Any advice please? Ta.
