Hi all, I am new to the forum and never had a 4x4 but going to look at a 2005 Range Rover 3.0 Td6 vogue Diesel with 100000 miles on the clock. It is from a dealer (not rover) and was wondering what to look for and what to ask the dealer etc. It is up for £6970. I am in the Manchester area so if you know of any decent garages I will be very grateful, Thanks.
 
Hi someone will be on soon with all the info you need. I know that at 100000 miles the gearbox is the biggest problem the internals are made of some sort of cheese. they have a very sophisicated system of suspension and engine and gearbox management .you will need a reader for these systems and be prepared to do a lot of work yourself unless you have very deep pockets or a lady who looks after your finances.
 
Well I have shallow pockets and a lady who looks after my finances (like Fagin) so back to the drawing board I suppose, Thanks a lot. More research required...
