Advice needed

Hi All,
I have been offered a Disco 2 with air suspension but been told there is a problem with the air suspension how easy is it to convert it to traditional spring and shocks if possible at all.

replacement bags are about 80 quid each, and a 10 minute job

My dad had his converted to springs. Don't think it cost too much, the local mechanic did it.

To do it properly, you need to take out the electronic controls and tell the BCU that it isn't fitted any more.

Note that there are 5-seater and 7-seater coil springs, most 'cheap' kits only give you the 5-seater springs so check which ones you are buying.

Many thanks for the advice, will look into what is exactly wrong with the air before I buy it. Many thanks to you listerdiesel for the tip.
