Hi,

I have a 1983 Range Rover V8. It has been stored in a garage for a few years after lack of time to use it. I have recently tried to start it but it sounds like the solenoid/starter is jammed. I'm told there is a nut you can turn to wind the starter back in but have no idea where that is and is it worth doing as i'm not going to try and MOT the car before sale. Also anyone any idea how much it's worth (V8 3.5 Lumenition ignition system, fairly good condition for age) either running and no MOT and not running and no MOT?

Thanks

its worth getting it running, get an MOT, clean it up properly and get the most you can get, a similar one just sold on fleabay for 2500, it was clean and tidymind.

650 as it sat if its in good nick.MOT wil add £££ to it. Starter motor might just need some extreme violence and colourful language
