Adverse Tyre Wear

Hi,

I have an N Reg defender 90 and I am experiencing some adverse tyre wear on both the rear wheels. The wear is on the outer half of the tread (see attached photos) and is wearing so much that I'm barely getting 6,000 miles out of a set of Goodrich All Terrains.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Tyres have been tracked and balanced etc. and there is no obvious damage to the rear axle or to the seating of the wheels.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have 265/75/R16's on it at the moment.

I believe these are one of the two standard tyres which fit defenders (either 235/85/16 or 265/75/16 tyres both of these will fit under standard suspension without altering your speedo reading or performance).

Yes. His tyres are too small. Somebody call the police

Not so much an emergency, more a continual concern which needs rectifying.
