I need to replace the discs on my FL1.
I have been looking at all the options.
At one end there is the vented, dimpled and grooved EBC discs with green stuff pads, which works out at over £200, to a set on eBay of drilled & grooved disc & minted pads for £90 down to plain discs like the ones on the FL1 at the moment.
Is there any advantage in the EBC discs with the grooves & dimples?
Or should I go for some Brembo solid disc for £50?
I like the sound of the low dust green stuff pads. Anybody used them.
I will be towing a caravan at some point, I don't drive fast as most of the time there is no point in the congested south east UK.
Wondering what the best options are.
Are the Britpart 'sports' drilled & grooved discs any good?
The auto appears to be heavier on brakes than the manual as it 'coasts' a lot of the time when you take your foot off the go pedal at lower speeds.
