Adjusting my Hand Brake

Hi Guys,

This will be my first post on the site. I have a 03 Plate Land Rover Discovery and am looking to find out how I adjust my hand brake, I changed all the pads and now need to set the hand brake, but cant work out how its done.

I assume I take the centre console out, but before I do that can someone confirm I am going in the right direction?

climb underneath your disco and you will find the handbrake drum on the rear of the gearbox, the cable has a threaded piece with 2 nuts on, slacken off the nut nearset to the drum then turn the nut nearest to the black outer cable clockwise once you have it tight enough tighten the other nut
