ah thats the problemo i am looking for the right size of spanner and as soon as i find the right size am going to buy a new one plus a new nut/bolt
the ones am trying to use are a slack fit,or mabee the nut is rounded
cause a cant get it off

Aah, dunno then. Try a pair of mole grips or a stilson. Or failing that force a slightly smaller socket on. If you're replacing the bolt anyway it doesn't matter about the head so long as the thread is right.

am going to try the smaller socket first see what happens, underneath it the now with hundreds of wd40 n stuff let it soak for a while,bastard thing

finally got it 10mm socket with 6 splines the 12 spline one just slipped,new bolt and belt tightened.feckin sorted only took 3 days
