Disco 2 Adding seats 6 & 7 into the boot space

Hi,

I am looking into getting a Disco 2, most of the decent 1's that are local to me are only 5 seats (which isn't a problem).

If in the future I wanted to add the extra 2 seats, is it possible? are their any laws regarding this? have any of you people done this already? are there any kits?

Yeah it's relatively easy, it needs new side panels, floor fittings, seatbelts and of course the seats themselves. They do often appear on ebay from people converting in the other direction

Insurance will need to be notified. V5 will need to be updated??

If you lived closer to me I'd be prepared to swap my 6th & 7th seats for the storage bins if you buy a 5 seater. I've just got a 7 seater myself because it was in decent condition and I liked the colour.
