Anyone use the CP9690 on a RR HSE 4.4l petrol? If so, what modules will it support? I am looking for a unit that will test the EAS system.
One of our bods uses a foxwell nt150 unit!Sorry, I meant the CP9695.
The OP's car is not a P38, the free EAS software is no use to him, but the RSW Diagnostic suite may be.If its just the EAS you want, try RSW software and laptop?

Oh yeah, I researched that. Looks like it is the "cream of the crop" unit. I just hate to purchase another unit just for the RR. I may have to in the end though.I have gap iid and it's excellent. Not cheap though!
If you intend keeping the car for some time it will more than pay for itself and when you sell the car there will always be a market for the diag unit so a win win really.
+1 for example, we were out on Sunday off roading and the EAS threw a fault and put the car down to the bump stops. Using the diagnostic system for our model p38 at the side of the track I was able to clear an unknown fault and continue. Thankfully it was a false code (weird) and we able to continue with usable suspension instead of getting off a track on the bumpstops.... Ever seen the hole the P38 axle will put in a engine sump!!! Nine litres of not pretty..If you intend keeping the car for some time it will more than pay for itself and when you sell the car there will always be a market for the diag unit so a win win really.
That is a great idea. Certainly a good reason to purchase the gap tool. Have you used this tool to troubleshoot problems with the RR? For example, my left front wheel shows higher than the rest as shown on the diagnostic screen on the dash. I suspect the height sensor is bad.
I fitted and calibrated mine on iid and it's a doddle.
Put it in calibration mode, measure to wheel arch and click up or down until correct height is measured. Save and done.
It also allows you to set up custom profiles so, for example, I do lots of motorway work so I have a profile that's 10mm lower than normal.
^^^^^^ Dropping like that means there is a pretty serious leakIf it's dropping to the stops overnight you have a leak. It'll burn out the compressor quickly if so and they're not cheap on L322.
I regularly leave mine at the airport for 2 weeks and it stays exactly at the level I left it.
