Hello every body out there, i wonder if anybody could please help me !!!
I have had my 2002 TD5 parked up for six months on my drive, as ive been working away.
i have noticed that one of the rear air bags on the rear suspension was slightly leaking, but i did not think this a problem as every time i started it up the presure built back up and then it was ok for a month.

Here were i need your help... i have noticed that the ACE amber warning light in now on constantly..i have checked the fliud which i must admitt is only just above min, and there is no leaks anywhere around the block or any pipes that i can see. Could tis problem be related to the leaking airbag.
i am reluntant about going to a dealer because, the last time i went they wanted £480, just for a service and that only just oil and all filters.

thanks again everybody.

The ACE system is totally separate to the SLS - the rear air suspension system,so its not a leaking airbag causing the amber lamp.
If the system hasnt leaked its going to need a quick session on Testbook to read any codes. You might be lucky and it just needs its lower and upper accelerometers recalibrating, but till it goes on Testbook you wont know.

hi mate, thanks for that... while i have been waiting for a reply from many of you kind people on landzone ive also been trying and asking about myself.
being a HGV driver i passed a landrover breakers the other day, and just nipped in.. The fitter there said that the two were not related, and as long as amber light stayed on, and not turned to red, the vehicle was ok to drive.
since then i have somewhere to have a dianostic for £35.
thanks for all your help
