Hi,

has anyone had their defender body stripped in an acid bath? Is this method suitable for a Defender?

I have decided to re-restore my Defender as the bloke that attempted to was a complete moron.The paint finish is ****e!
 
I had my front wings and bonnet with original paint dipped and the dipper said it was a swine to get off.
I used a DA sander for the rest but I had all new doors and the bulkhead was blasted so I only had the tub, sides and roof to do really.
