ACE - what does go wrong?

Seems to mainly be pipe leaks from what I have read. I would guess at corrosion.

What else tends to go wrong?

Just curious as I actually like the system.
 
yes, only corrosion(unless it was hurt during some extreme off-roading) i gave them a proffesional anticor treatment 7 years ago and they are like new... also they dont use much salt on the roads around here;)... this ACE system is quite bulletproof if it's well maintained...i'll keep fixing mine as long as i can afford though i havent had any problems with it since i own the car except the pipes long ago
 
Other issues from what I've read on here are pump burnout due to no fluid (pretty obvious to avoid if you're pro-active in your maintenance) and contamination issues, especially if pipe(s)/valves etc. have been replaced.

Well I would fix rather than strip as it was one of the reasons I bought it.
