You could read those pressure anyway to compare with the other one just in case cos if they'll be the same you'll know that the problem is in the pipework somewhere or eventually fix this block to have it as spare

For now I will limp it, should work long enough to get to work and home.

I am going to check with Redline the bore of the hose, worse case get next size up.

Blocks are very different around the valve assemblies, the older one has a lot thinner valves.

At least I now know my way around the hoses, changing the roll bar was time consuming but worth while as the rear actuator was pretty tatty and removing the pipes was hard

I'm still amazed though how you insist to check everything(which is not bad) but you refuse to check those pressures which are the most relevant in this case...or isnt hawkeye your tool?

The pressures seem OK but everything is slow to respond.

It is also raining so I am not swapping over my good pressure sensor.

As before it works when cold, or when driving VERY gently, any not very gentle cornering and error 18.

You mentioned restricted pipes and I think you had it, most D2BC conversions are simply 10mm plumbing fitted on. A few hydraulic hoses, but no mention of bore.

Mine are all 1/4" bore which is similar to the supplied metal hoses and fine for the rams, but the tails are pretty small bore.

I should have asked this question of Redline as I did not realise how small bore the fitting tails are.

The pressures seem OK....
are they all very close to mines....especially the ''pressure sensor"? cos if that's above 17 i doubt you'll need to change the transducer and yes the problem is with restricted flow due to those smaller fittings... it's very important to have it as before.

I am checking everything as I beleive the Hawkeye does not know everything. Bouncing things off you helps a lot, like the fact I am slightly down on the bore.

This valve block is of unknown provenance so converting the orignal to me is very worthwhile as it removes the valve block from the equation. If I still get issues with 3/8" ID pipe and the original block, I will be very confused.

The pressure values I am getting are in the same ball park as the orignal sensor.

One trip today, out fine, back 4 errors, stopped at Tescos perfect from there to home.

It seems I can lower errors by driving like a granny and giving the system more time to work.

Anyway after this we will have more knowleage which as always is a good thing. I WILL get ACE working perfectly again.

My Hawkeye by the way has paid for itself a few times over.

My father and my late father in law were mechanics, but years ago. So I do know about miss matched items causing problems.

Just out of curiosity... was this ever solved ?
Will have go through the same exercise: red ACE light when cornering.
DTC: 18 closed loop pressure not under control
No changes done to ACE plumbing or block.
Failed Lynx ACE test (slow response times OFF/ system), will start by flushing system with new oil, clean strainer and change pressure transducer.
Is there a way to review recorded data in Lynx without being connected to a vehicle ?
That would make it more convenient to document the pressure values.
Sorry for piggybacking on this topic.
