Allright all,

I'm planning a jaunt into Strata Florida next week, does anyone know of any midweek restrictions or closures etc I should be aware of ??

I was planning to start at the Abbey (747657). Then take in a few fords (787623, 803610), but we have a rough 'route' sorted, in as much as we're going south-easterly !!!
Does anyone have any 'routes' that we can follow, are there set paths/routes/tracks to follow, or is it all 'find your own path'.

I'd like to have a slightly more specific path to follow, rather than just a few highlighter pen marks on a map !!!

Any ideas ??

Also, I'm guessing that due our rather pleasant weather stretch, there 'shouldn't be too many boggy bits. Obviously water is expected in rivers/fords etc, but hopefully nothing too untoward.

If anyone can supply a nice good route enough for 1-2 outing with obvious grid reference markers, would be VERY helpful indeed.

Cheers all.

Booner, I'm going at the end of the month so would appreciate it if you could update once you have been. If you see any good camp sites that would be useful.
Land Rover Owner International May 2012 gave some grid references:
OS Landranger 160 (Grid Ref: SN 889295)
Tirabad, OS Landranger 160 (Grid Ref: SN 841414)
Glancamddwr, OS Landranger 147 (Grid Ref: SN 919469)
Soar y Mynnyd, OS Landranger 146/147 (Grid Ref: SN 738541)
Strata Florida, OS Landranger 146/147 (Grid Ref: SN 804568)

Not sure if of any use as I appreciate that these dont show a full route.
Have fun!
