Hi there,
I am thinking of re conditioning my original lift pump, as I have one of them nasty cheap ones on ATM, it was needed at the time and got me going again.
But it is a matter of time before it goes kaput.
I have found these guys:Reconditioning and spare parts for Diesel Fuel Pumps, Injectors, Governors, Lift Pumps - Peter Slater Fuel Injection Engineers
Any one used em?

Any one got any tips?
Any one done it?
Got a online guide?

Found this PDF :http://www.autoelectricaldieselfuelinjectionandbattery.com/files/CAES_CAT_Lift_Pumps.pdf
Mine very similar/same as the M1924

I don't fully understand all this.
I wanna know what I need to order to recon me pump and not sound like a complete retard on the phone:lol:

Its lots of cross reference numbers:confused:

Thanks for any help:D:D

unless you have a ring of screws holding halves together and not crimped over you wount be able to make a succes of it ,but i have done **** bloads of the tpe on series where you replace diaphragm by pushing down and twisting 90 degrees ,and replace oneway valves by removing crimped edges and refit with dot punch or something similar to recrimp making sure valves are fitted rigth way round
