abs system perhaps?

I have two 1993 disco axles to fit onto my 1985 90. They have abs sensor rings fitted. Would I have to wire these to a non existent ems, or is there a cheap way of upgrading my brakes? Reason for the new axles is to build up a rolling galv chassis, eventually to transfer the body onto.

The whole upgrade of a defender to abs was covered in 2 issues of Land Rover Monthly magazine recently, unless you have lots of knowledge and are willing to swap brake servo, master cylinder, add an abs module and ecu and all of the wiring it's not worth it.

I'll stick with cadence braking then
