ABS sensor

Help - my freelander TD4 failed its mot because of the ABS light being on, so I tried to clean the front sensor - big mistake because I broke it trying to get it out - nearly fainted when i got price of £177 plus vat today for a new one - any advice on where I can get one cheaper and is it possible to take one out without breaking it?? All advice greatly received

Get yourself down the scrap yard and get another hub with an abs sensor intact. It cost me £30 for a second hand hub when I wrecked my abs sensor, also post in the freelander section and you might get a better response.
