Good morning. New to the land rover world and 3 days in I need some help. Bought a project Disco 2 and spent most the day yesterday welding up the rear. Next job the 3 amigos. While on road test looking at data and only have one wheel speed pick up working so going to replace 3 hubs..........BUT, I slammed the brakes on to see if i would have anything think the ABS would not work but to my surprise the pedal kicked back and now the pump will not stop pumping. I've had to unplug it as it runs non stop, even with the truck off. Any help before i start part bombing it.
TIA
Adam

Welcome to the forum mate. I’ve never heard of an ABS pump staying running but stranger things have happened on these beasts.
The easiest item to start with is checking the electrical connector to the ABS module is free of corrosion and properly seated.

Depending how long your Disco 2 sat or was neglected, it might need a brake bleed with some new brake fluid.

You might want to invest in a diagnostic tester that specific to Land Rovers to see what fault codes you have.

Good luck.

UPDATE! Plugged the abs pump back in today and all is ok (as it can be) Did have a pump related code but have deleted it and will keep an eye on it
