abs problems 4.6

hi all
been having problems with the rangy latly abs/tcs lights have been on
took it to be code read came up with left rear sensor bad contact replaced the sensor to have it return the next day coded read again they said it wanted an ecu as the sensor is fine and all the wires are ok so got a good s/h ecu fitted code read road tested lights came on and now it says brake switch faliure check out with live data and the switch (1st + 2nd) ok tested manually still ok any ideas if so please help

Sounds like your second hand ECU also has a fault. Need to try it with a known good one.
