abs flash/blink engine check light flashing

hello there just sorted out the abs all is good.......for now.while i was doing the blink/flash the engine check light was flashing one short flash pause 2 short flashes then repeats is this normal or is it telling me theres a problem somewhere else.

My did this and it turned out to be the crankshaft sensor.

i have had this on a golf cutting out at speed stalling that sort of thing but she runs sweet no probs at mo.maybe i should get one just incase.
