PLEASE help.
I have fitted an abs rear axle from my donor car, mine is non abs. Now I need to fit the from abs to replace my non abs front axle and I'm not sure what the problems might be. I've done 3000 miles with the abs rear and now the transfere box or gear box is sounding really wierd, like the sound a shopping trolley with knackered wheels at high speed would sound. The clutch is nearly gone and I have an r380 to stick in place of the lt77 whilst I'm in there, but is the rear axle doing damage? I checked the numbers on the diff and all matched and I thought it would break sooner if there really was a problem but dont want to damage the next box. Also I am really worried about what troubles I might cause by fitting the front axle!!!
Worst of all I am having to drive round in a vauxhall corsa till I sort it!
