When I bought my disco I knew it had a few "issues" with the dreaded tin worm but not this much,"Flippin eck!"
I've been at it for a week and I've still loads to do, will it never end?

So first I did the front body mount

Then the boot floor(what was left of it!)

Even the seat mountings were rotten and hanging off and my 2 kids sit in the back!!!

Boot floor done only the inner and outer sills to do next!

That brings back memories of doing my old one - black disco, blacked out windows - summer heatwave.......I was not enjoying myself at all! lol! Drank a few barrels of water.

Neat job though!

I did think about doing the sedimenter but there was so much rust and crap from grinding I thought it would be wise to leave it alone.
I've welded a few motors before but this has to be the worst I've come across, I still like my disco though even if it is a rot box :D

Guess what I was doing all last week? F#*@king thing!!

At last after 2 weeks welding,3 bottles of gas,1 roll of wire, about 15 grinding discs, blood sweat and tears and 100 cups of tea it's ready for the mot "yippee"!
I can start on the series now!

that brings me back memories when I had the same on my old disco..

rear inner arches, rear cross member supports, front inner arches, floors, sills,etc...

I'm so glad its gone! lol

good welding skills there mate.

Congratulations, I bet it feels good now it's done. :D:D

I had to do all that to a RR Classic some years ago,
front inner wings, sills, rear wheel arches inside and out, boot floor and surrounds.
It doesn't sound much if you say it quick, does it?

I took a week off work to do it, and only got 1/2 way through.
I had to take another week later to finish it off.
