I'm Oggy, 24, from Manchester, and I've just bought myself a Discovery 300tdi!

It's not my first Land Rover, I owned a Defender 90 V8 a few years ago but when I moved abroad I had to get rid, since being back in the UK, I've had a few other cars, but after driving an MX5 for 2 years it was time for a change.

It's not quite standard, but not quite as I want it just yet, all the usual bits done under the bonnet, EGR valve, fuel pump, Intercooler etc, externally it has a 2" lift kit, modular wheels and AT tyres, Safari snorkel, spot lights, and importantly all on a solid chassis and body. Next on the shopping list are various pieces of protection, diff, steering guards and such.

It's primarily my every day driver, but what is the point in owning a Landy and not taking it off road? :D

I've done a few green lanes in the Peak District, but need to find some new friends now, there is only so much I can get away with doing alone!

I followed the guide on maythegreenovalbewithyou website, I believe the author is on here too? If so, thank you very much! Armed with the OS maps and your grid references, my girlfriend and I had a fantastic day out.

Anyway, I've waffled on a bit now, but hello all, and I look forward to meeting up with some of you in the future.

I'm sure I'll survive :p

I managed several years and far too many posts on a forum called dirtbikerejects, motocross banter(or at least that was the idea) of the most obscure kind, and meets to match!

Bring it on! :D
