Hi Paul

Forgive me for being ignorant but on your sig pic i can't work out wether your rock / tree slider is bent or meant to be like that but if its meant to be like that i quite like the look of them and would like to know where can i buy them from and how much as they look great

Pretty sure they are angled down and he made them himself if I remember rightly.
So get yer welder out

Been looking at the ones on the rock slider company site seem quite good, was hopeing to get some from them at billing but they had run out of stock at the show so ended up buying a winch bumper instead

Yeah, I made them up myself, 50 x 50 x 3mm wall square tube for the 'sill' part and 50 diameter x 3mm CDS pipe for the 'step' part. They are angled down deliberately and out a little not just for tree slider duty but so they act as a step for my wife .. and they work really well!

i like em but is the tubed part dropped below the bottom of the slider ?

Yep .. the tube was done that way to form a step. The 'Rockslider' is probably more like a very, very strong sill now, but will still protect the fuel tank exactly the same as any other, it just has the tube treeslider part lower down is all. They've been proved in North Yorkshire and the Lakes and just work!
