Due to early onset senility I thought it would be a great idea to pay £900 for a 1995 Discovery 300 with a years mot. A vehicle which saw better days 10 years ago! has been hammered externally and massively neglected internally.
I have this battered old warrior of the farmyard sat on my drive and to add to its troubles I am mechanically naïve
The car to be fair is to be used as my shooting vehicle for carrying dogs and fellow old bastards up the occasional rough track and onto fairly flat fields so its off road capability's will never be tested. It wont see a lot of use in the summer months apart from field trialling and various dog training jaunts.
It has a good chassis a sound engine, gears, brakes and clutch are spot on and everything electric works! The interior is going to be replaced with a second hand leather interior and various bits of trim and catches. Carpets and rubber mats etc can be replaced easily enough but how far will I go to replace the rusted dented wings and doors im not sure??
