a misbehaving P38

Hi all.just joined.I have a 1998 Range rover P38 who is constantly giving me trouble.From overheating,replacing radiator,eas pump replaced,then air bags going,height sensors going,now when it goes through a small puddle it goes into limp mode,gearbox fault beeps like a mad thing on the dash,what could cause this.It is an off-roader so whats with the fear of water.Ive spent more money on repairing it than I actually spent on the jeep itself at this stage and it was English reg so i had to Vrt it to change it to Irish reg,she is a cracker,British racing green,20inch alloys,great bodywork for the year but is a nuisance.Everytime I fix something,another else fails.whats with the gearbox fault though.
