Difficult i would have though. I have seen a 150, in one of the Land rover mags but never a 200

It will have a turning circle about the size of a bus, but i think your biggest problem will be it wanting to split in the middle!

Good luck... Will be interesting if you attempt it ;) Remember to post some pictures up

I think your best be would be to get in touch with someone who builds stretched Limo's for some advice?

SVA anyway, but the main point would be to spread the loading away, from joint

You hit the nail on the head there, Im a Limousine operator and hate hummers by far and VOSA have but the IVA rules so high and importing new limousines is becomming more and more impossible,

Being a Defender lover i want to show the Hummers a thing or two lol.

Just looking for some advice on extending the chassis and strengh, there perfect for it as the body just sits on the chassis its less concern about cutting the thing in half lol.

the chassis of a defender is two C sections welded together , if the cuts on a 110 chassis on the flat part and evenly overlapped strengthened between the two ends, with two straight lengths , i dont see the problem , worth a go :)

Cheers, My idea was to streatch it and also add another rear axle as a dead axle on for the the weight, Me thinks the TD5 engine may be best for the car i hate to see the MPG on the 2.5TD engine with the extra weight

Im hoping that was a petrol one lol. I fancy a S3 my self but i must say i like the first gen defenders most, I hate the new ones, What where they smoking when they put that frog eyed dash in and transit engine
