A/Con illumination bulbs

Some of the illumination bulbs in my TD5 air-con control panel and clock have blown. Can anyone tell me how to remove the panel without damaging it. Have tried pulling it out like a radio unit but, don't want to force it and break whatever holds it in place?

yes.

there is a clip on both sides which needs to be pushed in.

Get two dinner knives or metal rulers. slide them in on either side of the unit at the middle of the vertical by about 15mm. Then splay the handles outwards so to push the clips in, and use the knives to lever it out forwards.
