bloke said it stopped with a bit of a bang, assumed it was the belt so pulled the front off and was disapointed to find the belt all in one piece

so he put it on ebay, i put me £50 max bid on and walked away

anyways 99p later it's mine - there's also a really tidy looking dustbin that came with it containing the alt, starter, timing chest cover and lots of other items - the bin was worth a fiver

so - timing belt looking ok but the crank only turning about 100 degrees, and stops with a bit of a thud

as this is being completely stripped for bits with a view to using them for future builds i didn't go straight in for the kill and took the lift pump, vac pump and oil filter off first - peeking through all looked reasonably good

these parts go into my very large box to feed my better than new production line (the worlds slowest) so nowts for sale

must admit i was disappointed to find so much damage - am still trying to beat the 20 quid 300 i bought described as "massively over heated and now won't start" - which turned out to having been used with a blocked rad (so got hot very quick) but didn't cook the head or block and the fuel shut off was fooked hence it not starting

Fair shouts mate :) as they say you never know till you ask :) .

I dont think you'll beat that 20 bucks for the 300 :) my best is £110 for a 200 disco with 8 months MOT and the motors Mint .
