Hello!
I've searched the forums and I am trying to find out what specific part the error code "driver recirculation door motor circuit fault" is referring to? I've found conflicting answers so far.
I recently replaced my HVAC head unit and am still getting the self-diagnostic "book" error on the display. I was first told my HVAC unit was bad. So, I bought a new unit and I am still getting the error "book." I took my car back to the dealer for a second reading. The dealer's mechanic said I need a new blower. When I asked for specifics, he really didn't know. (Great! Why did I pay $125 for the diagnostic??).
Looking on-line and in RAVE, the blower assembly appears to consist of 3 main parts - the blower motor itself (STC4304), the housing part of the assembly and a blender motor (STC3266 for a single/STC3259 for all 3). BPUtah.com has a great picture of the assembly in the blender motor description.
Does this error refer to the actual blower fan STC3404 or the blender motor STC3266 that mounts on the side of the assembly? Each of the pieces are pricey but the blender motor being the least expensive would be nice if that fixes it!
I appreciate any help you may offer! Thakn you
