Hi All

I've got a 98 3.9 V8 ES Disco 1 which has been converted to run on LPG. I've had her for nearly 3 years now and everting is fine BUT I've got one nagging problem, she's a bugger to start, don't get me wrong she ALWAYS starts but it can take 5 to 10 seconds of the starter motor turning before she fires up. She's had new Lucas distributor cap new Lucas Rotor arm and the land rover speciast I bought her from reckons everything is alright on the mixture setup. It makes no difference wheather shes hot or cold, starting on petrol or LPG.

She kinda splutters when she fires up (which she always evetually does).

The Land Rover guy reckons it might be a wierd problem with a resistor somewhere within the loom of teh electrics. I've asked him if he thinks it's the air intake unit (with all the sensors in it) but he reckons it ain't. I've always thought shes a bit juicy in that she only does about 130 miles on 60 lites of LPG but apparantly that about right. Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Ray:)
