I had the, apparently common, experience where there was hot air during the
hot part of the day, and then normally cold air during the cool parts of the
day.

But it started as an air supply problem. Cold air would barely blow. Now
it's not blowing at all. There was some roaring to the air from time to time.
An indication of the bearings going out?

Any suggestions? On either diagnosis or parts supply?

Thanks,
Stacie

might want to check the air inlet damper. As in my 97 sd20tdi, the
damper would only open/close half way, thus not allowing the cabin air
or fresh air to pass. Finally found the bugger w/ help of mait manual,
and cleaned and lubed it. Works fine, and have added it to the long
list of regular maintaince to be done! Good luck
